Playtech Signs Content Deal With Authentic
LSE-listed online gaming specialist Playtech is a leader in the provision of omni-channel iGaming services and products. The firm has signed multiple new content deals so far this year, and its most recent partnership deals include the likes of Authentic Gaming, a world-renowned software developer, and the Portuguese gambling behemoth SAS.
Both deals are set to significantly strengthen Playtech’s position in the global iGaming market. The Authentic Gaming deal has seen Playtech partnering with the successful supplier of live casino solutions, which has granted its licensees access to all of Authentic’s live casino games such as Authentic Roulette, which is live-streamed from land-based casinos around the world.
Under the terms of the agreement, Playtech’s casino operators will be able to offer their players live-streamed casino action complete with real live croupiers, players and roulette tables through Authentic’s advanced streaming services. The partnership between the two-iGaming firms may also expand over the next few months, making even more casino tables available to Playtech licensees.
The new Authentic casino offerings will be live streamed from multiple brick and mortar casinos. Authentic Gaming’s games will also be available through both desktop and mobile gaming channels, ensuring smooth gameplay for every casino player.
Playtech’s second big deal of the quarter has been signed with Portugal’s SAS. The Sociedade de Apostas Sociais is Portugal’s major online gambling and sports betting provider, and the deal between the two firms will see Playtech incorporating its IMS player management platforms and singular wallet offerings into SAS’s operations.
