Pennsylvania Issues Fines To Land Based Operators

The fine also included an incident where one of the venue’s cashiers overpaid a customer by $9000. The Gaming Board felt that the Mountainview Racing Association failed to use adequate safeguards and systems with their cashiers to prevent faulty payment.
Failure To Obtain Proper Licensing
The Parx Casino located in Bucks County was next in line to receive fines. They also received two fines. The first was for $25 000 for failure to adequately deal with an inebriated customer. Their second fine was for $10 000 due to the Parx Casino failing to register two of their employees in accordance with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board ‘s regulations.
Finally the Valley Forge Convention Centre ad Mount Airy received fines totalling $32 000 as they violated regulatory laws on offering gambling activities without the required approvals.
