Microgaming has announced that they will be extending its support for Responsible Gambling as part of its commitment to offer safer and fairer gambling services to its customers. As part of this commitment, the company will be providing more support for the many charities that are linked with the Responsible Gambling initiative, as part of the Safer Gambling Week that focuses on the harm that many players suffer due to their addictions to gambling.
Microgaming’s PlayItForward – which has now been running for seven years – is an initiative created and maintained by the gaming supplier to assist charities and other causes that provide support and care for those harmed from gambling. They had recently broadened their outreach to such charities as Betknowmore UK, which is one of the leading gambling support systems within the United Kingdom.
Along with donations last year, Microgaming has again offered financial backing to the Gordon Moody Association, which is well-known for providing therapy services to those individuals that suffer from gambling problems. Their most recent outreach is aimed at offering a fund for the families of gambling addicts that are under the watch of the charity.
Microgaming has also been at the helm of various digital projects over the years, covering such campaigns as the GamCare National Helpline. Beacon Counselling Trust, which maintains counselling services as well as educational programmes, along with the Young Gamers and Gambler’s Education Trust, have also received funding from Microgaming, specifically for their educational videos.
