Online supplier IWG has recently announced a new partnership with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, and will begin providing the lottery with a range of different online games. The IWG games will be made available on the lottery’s PlayNow portal, which is accessible to anyone living within the province.
The partnership will also ensure that IWG continues to develop new games for the BCLC specifically, and that they will be providing the games on a fairly regular basis over the next few months, although specifics of the deal have not yet been made public.
CEO of IWG, Rhydian Fisher, told reporters that they are excited to be offering their games to the BCLC, which is one of the most successful online lotteries within North America. He added that their new partnership will strengthen their position as leaders of the instant-win genre of lottery games that have become popular in recent years, and that many players throughout the territory will be able to enjoy their content.
The British Columbia Lottery Corporation is a part of the Crown Corporation, a body owned by state, but also works independently from the government, which is also responsible for all of the regulation of commercial casino gaming in the province.
Vice President of North America at IWG, Hason Lisliecki, explained that BCLC players will be offered a wide ran of their portfolio of games through RGS integration, and they are committed to working alongside their new lottery partners to deliver continued revenue growth.
