Coming new from Fantasma Games is a colourful new Reactoonz-inspired online slot called Elemento. True to what the name suggests, the game is themed around the four elements: earth, water, fire, and air. The game is Fantasma’s debut grid slot and is by no means a bad start to a new journey.
To register a winning combination, a total of 5 matching symbols must be clustered together on the grid. This may happen either vertically or horizontally. Once a winning combination has been formed, new symbols will drop into the void left behind by the removal of the winning symbols from the grid by the Avalanche mechanic.
The grid is 7×7 in extent and is surrounded by a special Element Area. Here, only Element Wilds appear, each with a unique modifier. Up to 6 Element Wilds can be placed on the Element Area for every paid spin. These special symbols can also spontaneously become part of a winning combination, which is of course their main appeal.
Element Wilds are constantly moving clockwise around the grid – with movement taking place every time the Avalanche mechanic has worked its magic. Each time an Element Wild becomes part of a winning combination, a special Element Meter fills up by +1, with all Element Wild Modifiers playing out and paying out at the end of a sequence of Avalanche completions.
Element Wild Modifiers come in the following order:
- Fire Wild – will add between 2 and 10 Wilds to the grid.
- X Flood – will transform an incredible 9 symbols into matching symbols displayed in the shape of an X.
- Demolition – will instantly remove all randomly chosen low paying symbols.
- Tornado – a whirlwind blows across the grid, instantly either removing or transforming 8 symbols to a different and randomly selected symbol.
