Raketech Group appointed Måns Svalborn as its new Chief Financial Officer after Andreas Kovacs departed from the role to take up the new one of Performance Marketing Specialist as Director of Business Development. Svalborn will enter Raketech on November 11 under the agreement and will work with Kovacs to guarantee an easy transfer to the position of CFO. Svalborn presently works as CFO at Credorax Bank in Maltese, where he is a member of the Executive Management Team and is accountable for financial control and economic activities.
He previously worked time at Nordea as Head of Regulatory Financial Reporting Group, as well as Head of Group Finance at Öhman Group and Senior Auditor at EY.
Since June 2018, Kovacs has served as Raketech’s CFO on the Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market. He used his time in the role to optimize the investment composition of Raketech while also having a part in M&A and market development. In his current role as Business Development Director, Kovacs will concentrate completely on executing Raketech’s continuing growth policy, which involves Casumba Media’s latest takeover. Kovacs will also stay on the executive committee and will proceed to report to CEO Michael Holmberg.
Kovacs, talking to reporters, stated that as CFO, his task was to prepare their business for the IPO, and that he has gradually concentrated more on their development plans and the development work of the operator since then, adding that it’s become his passion over the last few years.
