Ozzy Osbourne To Be In New Slot

February 15, 2019 by

International software developers NetEnt are well known for going the extra mile to make their slots as unique as possible. This often means creating games that are based on famous franchises, brands, and people, and their latest slot will see the inclusion of one of the music industry’s most famous icons: Ozzy Osbourne.

According to reports on their latest slot release, Osbourne, who has been the frontman for metal band Black Sabbath for decades, will be immortalised in his own slot. Bryan Upton, Director of Game Products at NetEnt, has said that there are few rock stars that are quite as famous and popular as Ozzy Osbourne.

This is both because of contributions to music over the last 50 years, but also because of Osbourne’s unique and over the top personality that has made him an important part of pop culture. Upton added that him and his team couldn’t wait to bring his likeness to the reels for fans to play and enjoy.

The deal comes about after an agreement between NetEnt and Global Merchandising Services, with GMS Chairman Barry Drinkwater stating that NetEnt are the market leaders in the international iGaming industry.

Along with this new game, NetEnt has also announced that it intends to roll out an entirely new line of classic video games that will be released with a monetized format. Some of these include such famous titles and franchises as Planet of the Apes, Jumanji, and many more.
