Helio Gaming, an online lottery provider based in Malta, has announced the appointment of Keith Galea as their new chief executive officer. Galea has previously worked as the provider’s chief operating officer before he was given the new role. Richard Mifsud, who had been the previous chief executive, will be moving to a consultant role, where he will put most of his focus on growth and business continuity. Galea had first joined Helio Gaming earlier this year in June, and had worked as platform solutions provider Bit8 previously, along with serving as the managing director of Consul Labs.
Talking about his new potion, Galea stated that he is delighted to be taking over as CEO of Helio Gaming, and that he honoured to be given the chance to build on the company’s achievements so far. He continued saying that Helio Gaming’s lottery solutions are an asset for all operators that want to start increasing their gaming portfolios, and that he believes that their universal appeal will assist their business while pushing them from strength to strength over the next few years.
The provider has been founded by Mifsud in January of 2018, and has stated that his move would give him the chance to help the company grow in new markets around the world. He stated that he was looking forward to exploring further business opportunities, and that they intend to capitalise on new markets, and that he is freeing up his time to explore further into the market.
