Hard Rock Celebrates Record Hire For Atlantic City

Hard rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, in preparation for its late June opening, has celebrated its hiring of its 3000th employee. They intend to ultimately hire 3500 employees in total to man the new casino and hotel that is has finished being constructed.

The property that was formerly Trump Taj Mahal was acquired by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and the transaction was officially completed through their Hard Rock International brand. Leonard Coleman, a 54 year-old from Atlantic City is the 3000th employee to be hired by the company, which it considers a momentous occasion.

Coleman is to be hired as a craps dealer at the resort casino-hotel, and was honoured in a ceremony that marked the milestone for the grand opening that was coming up. Matt Harkness, the Hard Rock Property President, was there to meet Coleman during the ceremony.

Harkness and Coleman went on to pose for a number of pictures that were taken in the Showboat hotel not long after Coleman was informed of his new position in the casino. Coleman has reportedly said that he has been working in the casino industry for 10 years.

The casino and hotel that are being constructed later on in June, and are part of a re-imagining of the Boardwalk casino scene. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is the first of the franchise to be officially opened, with the Ocean Resort Casino to be opened at a later date that has yet to be officially announced.
