Sydney-based slot manufacturer Lightning Box has introduced Mike Lally to take on the responsibility of their online division in the UK, Europe and Canada, where he will work as head of account management. Lally, who is based in London, will be looking after the studio’s casino operator clients, as well as growing their commercial interests among lotteries throughout North America. Before relocating to SG Digital subsidiary Betdigital to expand its online business, Lally had earlier been responsible for launching over 1,500 games with leading brands over a six-year span at Openbet.
His assignment coincides with the internal promotion of Michael Maokhamphiou, another former SG Digital worker, who was given a new role as operations manager.
CEO and co-founder of Lightning Box, Peter Causley, told reporters that they are honoured to be working with someone who has many years of industry experience, and that Lally has a reputation for customer service and for getting the job done. He added that they are also happy that they were able to make Michael Maokhamphiou responsible for their product rollouts and for software implementation. The CEO went on to say that over the last six months, he has been a great addition to their team, and that it’s an interesting time for both Lightning Box and for their partners.
Commenting on his new role, Lally stated that he is happy to be joining the Lightning Box team, which an excellent reputation for providing entertaining and high quality titles.
