Online igaming solutions provider Aspire Global has recently agreed to ink a new deal to acquire GMS Entertainment Limited, which is the parent company of the B2B supplier Pariplay. The acquisition will cost Aspire Global a free of £11.8 million.
Both parties are expecting the deal to go through during the third quarter of this year, and Aspire Global has said that while it will have a positive effect on its EBITDA for 2020, it will not likely impact their overall results for this year. Aspire has also stated that the acquisition will strengthen their B2B business by creating synergies that will allow them to broaden their games portfolio while also creating a channel that will allow them to distribute and sell their proprietary games outside of its own network.
Pariplay, which is a B2B software provider, operates its own aggregation platforms, creating casino content through its own games studios. In addition to this, Pariplay is also approved to offer services in New Jersey, with Aspire has noted that this represents potential growth in the future, and will allow US operators more access to their won content.
Pariplay currently holds gaming licences in Gibraltar, Curacao, Malta, Romania, and the UK, while many of its games are certified for regulated markets throughout Europe. Aspire’s chief executive, Tsachi Mainmon, told reporters that they are excited about the acquisition of Pariplay, which is in line with their M&A strategy, focussing on B2B growth along with external game sales.
