Online content marketing provider Raketech has recently announced the appointment of Oskar Mühlbach as the new chief operations officer for the operator. Mühlbach will be taking on his new role from the beginning of May, and will be joining the senior management team at Raketech, where he will be in charge of geographic expansion as well as digital user experience.
He is joining the operator having recently worked as chief ventures officer and managing director of Green Media, a media agency that is owned and operated by gaming giant Mr Green. Earlier in his career, Mühlbach spent some time on the management team for a shoes retailer Footway Group, and was also the COO of glasses and contact lenses supplier Lensway.
Talking about his new role, Mühlbach said that the gaming market is undergoing change, and that it’s important that all companies work on optimising their business models and strive to become more digital in the way that they work. He continued by saying that as Raketech continues to expand, he believes that it’s important to try and secure high scalability when entering a new market.
CEO of Raketech Michael Holmberg in a statement said that Mühlbach is joining them with a solid background working n senior roles, and that he fulfils all of the criteria needed for a COO role. The announcement comes after the operator reported a declining profit for 2018, and is hoping to turn their earnings around through expansion and optimisation.
