Online supplier Red Rake Gaming has announced the hiring of Jose Javier Marti as their new commercial chief officer in a bid to bolster their management. The news comes just before the operator is to launch its services within the UK market. The Malta-based online casino content supplier has recruited Marti from NetEnt, where he worked as an account manager for the last three years.
Marti’s arrival comes one month after Genil sales director Nick Barr was hired as the managing director within Malta. As the new chief commercial officer, Marti is now responsible for the expansion projects that are currently in the works as the company attempts to transform its operations from social to real-money gaming.
Red Rake Gaming already owns a licence to offer services within both the Italian and Spanish markets, and in the last few months has signed agreements to start supplying to Casino Barcelona and VdeioSlots.com. Furthermore, the supplier is also awaiting new licences for the UK, Romania, and Portugal.
The company was first founded as a social gaming developer as far back as 2011, but decided to refocus its business model as it moved over to real money gaming a few years ago. Carlos Fernandez Aguilar, the head of business development and a co-founder of the company, told reports that they couldn’t be more thrilled to have Marti on board, and that they are certain his skills and experience will be of help as they expand in the coming months.
