Bethard Group recently told reporters that they were in talks with an unnamed US entity that might see the company providing its Together Gaming B2B service being released into the US market sometime before the end of next year.
Group founder and director, Erik Skarp, explained that the Swedish company has no plans to enter the US market within the next year and a half, but there some talks to released its consume-facing website, Bethard.com to the US sometime in 2020.
The recent development from Bethard is in contract what they told reporters earlier in the year, after they signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a brand ambassador, as part of deal that would see the football legend playing at LA Galaxy in North America’s increasingly more popular Major League Soccer games, with said contract coming to a close at the end of the 2019 season.
Skarp did reveal, however, that their Together Gaming platform could be ready to enter the US market. This comes as part of Bethard’s current expansion plans, and not long after they acquired a gaming licence for Denmark. The group also hold operational licences from Malta and the UK.
They further confirmed that they are actively seeking more licences in other markets, and hope to have placement in more key markets in Europe by the end of 2020. Their latest launch in Denmark should see their website up and running for Danish players within the next few weeks, according to the company.
