SBTech has recently announced its newly formed partnership with LeoVegas-Owned online gaming company Rocket X. SBTech hopes to use Rocket X’s sportsbook to begin branching out into the UK.
The Rocket X brand was first established by LeoVegas during March in an attempt to consolidate the assets it had within the UK. SBTech is hoping to add a number of its brands to the new platform, including their current flagship brand BetUK.com, which will come with supporting features such as YourBet. YourBet has already become part of the UK market thanks to other SBTech operators that were put in place during the course of the year.
Mark Good, chief executive of Rocket X, told reporters that the strength of SBTech lies in its coverage, its regulatory and technical expertise, and its proven track record of powering the fast-growth or operators within the UK market. He also explained that a range of responsible gambling controls from SBTech were a deciding factor in their choice to sign the new partnership agreement.
Chief commercial officer of SBTech, Andrew Cochrane, told reporters that both LeoVegas and Rocket X share their vision of delivering a value proposition to players, which they hope to do through product innovation, scalable technology, and a well-researched risk and trading management scheme.
This comes after SBTech revealed the launch of their latest mobile sportsbook, MoPlay.co.uk, which will be operating on SBTech’s Chameleon360 iGaming platform, and will allow users to wager on an international sports roster.
