Hard Rock Atlantic City was opened recently in New Jersey, and was met with acclaim from both gamblers and those invested in the venue. During the opening, Hard Rock also opened their real-money online counterpart, which was the result of a partnership with Gaming Innovation Group. The group earned a provisional licence from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, and the temporary licence is to be used until GIG can earn something more permanent.
GIG has told reporters that they recently received the go-ahead for a transitional licence, which will allow them to launch their newly-created Hard Rock online casino. The company will continue to wait for a full, permanent licence from the state, which may still take some time. Robin Reed, CEO of GIG, recently stated that the company was delighted to be working with Hard Rock, and that the partnership was the first step in their plans for the market.
In order for a permanent licence to be acquired, GIG will need to finalize its regulatory compliance, after which they will be permitted to the Casino Service Industry Enterprise License.
Their upcoming online casino is expected to have a full library of games for visitors to enjoy. This includes both slot machines and table games, and players can expect games such as baccarat, blackjack, roulette, as well as a slots tournament. There will reportedly be an estimated 25 different slot games available, many of which have become favourites for players in New Jersey.
